Luca Palomba, our son was born 23rd December 2001 and died 2 days later on Christmas morning. Luca
was born prematurely when I was 6 and a half months into my pregnancy. Weighing just 1lb 12oz he
was extremely poorly. Although we were never given hope he would survive it never prepared us for
that Christmas morning when we were told their was nothing more they could do to save him and our
baby's life support machine was to be turned off. Luca died in my arms at 5.25am the first
and only time I would ever get to hold my baby. Although Luca now has two little brothers our lives
will never be the same. Luca - mummy, daddy and your brothers love you all the world. Until we see
you again our hearts are broken - goodnight godbless sweetheart xxxx
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,

With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
